Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model in the US. After achieving fame through his role on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow He was featured in over 20 feature films, like The Core. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs and The Lost Law & Order as well as many others. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting the disease ever since. In two years the cancer went into the stage of remission. Treatment at a young stage had a negative effect on the body. It hampered his development. When he first started to take action, financial stability appeared to be his goal. He'd experienced poverty during his childhood. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle for so long I have to have that financial security or else the world seems out of control for me he said in an interview. Also, looking back to his childhood He wants to do something about the issue of bullying. He says "Cruelty breaks the heart of my heart." His ideal role in film and in his life is the father. Yet he confesses "Directors aren't casting me for those roles." He'd like to be a dad one day, to be able to devote more time to his son and not be so occupied with his work.
